Michiana Spine's providers faced difficulties in communicating complex medical procedures and information to patients. They had no means of visually connecting with their patients besides their website. Their logo at the time was also out of date and was not scalable.
I was tasked with creating a YouTube channel and filming providers explaining different procedures. The objective was to give a visual way for providers to connect with their patients. Also, a complete redesign of their logo was needed as their current one was out of date and not scalable making it blurry on larger prints.
To execute the strategy, I arranged meetings to film providers in 4K. I edited the videos and uploaded them to the newly created YouTube channel. Besides creating videos, I also designed a new custom logo, worked with the local news, made updates to their website, did marketing research, edited photos, and completed other small projects.
The YouTube channel has provided an efficient way for providers to explain complex medical procedures to patients. Patients can now view the videos at their own convenience, which has significantly reduced the burden on the providers to communicate over email and phone. The videos have given a visual way for providers to connect with their patients, and the clinic has received positive feedback from both patients and providers. Their new logo is now used on all their marketing material and notates their web presence.
