DoMoreGood, a nonprofit, needed promotional materials for their social media accounts to showcase their upcoming conference's lineup of speakers and engage followers with their mission statement. They required visually appealing and informative posts, generating interest in the event and building a stronger community.
The project was to create branded social media posts to launch a new brand's Instagram and Facebook pages. I needed to contact industry leaders and schedule interviews to showcase how they're “doing more good” in their businesses. The goal was to generate buzz around the brand and engage the target audience.
As a content creator for DoMoreGood, I interviewed business leaders, documented their stories, and crafted their stories into compelling short articles. Additionally, I took their pictures and edited them to fit the DoMoreGood branding. Finally, I posted the articles on their DoMoreGood social media pages to promote their impact on the community, creating positive awareness and engaging with the community.
The 5 articles created for DoMoreGood's social media launch were a success, garnering positive feedback and over 100 followers over 5 consecutive weeks. The content aligned with the brand's values and established it as a thought leader in their local area. The DoMoreGood team has since grown but continues to use the original themes and strategies set up. This success has helped the brand maintain a consistent voice and message, contributing to ongoing growth and engagement with the audience. Overall, the project was successful in establishing DoMoreGood's social media presence and reaching their target audience.
